Popular actor Nandamuri Balakrishna has expressed readiness to undertake campaigning for the coming by-elections. This must surely pep up the mood in Telugu Desam camp.
A sense of despondency is palpable in the main opposition party as the by-polls are nearing with a section of senior leaders rooting for infusing the glamour element into the campaign. It is hoped that the star power of Nandamuri family will help boost the morale of the cadre and turn the tide in its favour.
While promising to participate in the electioneering if the party leadership directs him, Balayya, however, remained evasive when asked whether he would take the responsibility of ensuring the success of the party candidates. The aging star also evaded questions on the reports of differences within the Nandamuri clan and the irritants bothering the party including the Vallabhaneni Vamsi episode.
